Publications

Membership includes subscription to the Council's biannual newsletter the Virginia Archaeologist and other notifications related to Virginia archaeology and COVA activities. The Virginia Archaeologist contains articles on issues in Virginia archaeology, current research and publications, and information on COVA activities. COVA also sponsors special publications, including a series on Virginia prehistoric and historical archaeology produced in conjunction with the Archeological Society of Virginia (ASV).
